AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC)

This credential certifies your ability to code physician services, procedures, and diagnoses for medical claims. Tuition includes courseware, certification exam, and student membership fee to the AAPC.

Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS)

Is medical billing your thing? The CBCS career track gives you the billing concepts you need to optimize reimbursement for a full range of healthcare services. It includes introductory coding concepts for a more complete understanding of the billing process. You’ll also learn MS Office programs, medical terminology, and medical billing software. The National Healthcareer Association CBCS certification exam is included.

Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist (CEHRS)

Join this rapidly growing field. Learn to streamline the workflow in a healthcare setting by maintaining patient records and clinical data in an electronic health record (EHR) system. Discover the benefits of an EHR system for healthcare workers, physicians and patients. Learn the technology, best practices, and rules and regulations that govern EHR systems. Get hands-on experience with actual electronic health records software. This career track includes preparation for the National Healthcareer Association CEHRS certification exam.

Certified Health Unit Coordinator (CHUC)

Get the professional skills you need to coordinate a healthcare unit. Learn to assist medical staff with the daily clerical and administrative tasks required for quality healthcare services. As highly valued members of the healthcare team, health unit coordinators are essential to communications between departments, medical staff, patients, and their visitors. This career track will prepare you for the National Association of Health Unit Coordinators (NAHUC) certification exam. Successful completion of the exam results in certification and student membership with the NAHUC.

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)

Prepare yourself to work as a technician in a retail, hospital, long-term care, or mail-order pharmacy. Understand the role of a pharmacy technician and how to communicate with patients. Learn about federal and state regulation, pharmaceutical terms, procedures, math and conversions. Prepare for certification through either the PTCE exam from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board or the ExCPT exam from the National Healthcareer Association.

Dental Office Administrator

Become a critical member of the dental healthcare team. As a well-qualified patient care coordinator, you’ll not only organize and operate an efficient dental office but also provide a first impression for patients. This training program will teach you basic business concepts and all facets of the dental practice, including appointment scheduling, insurance verification, insurance coding, dental billing, referrals, patient registration and bookkeeping.
